The problem

“Tested” is easy to say. Harder to prove.

Used-phone buyers need more than photos and condition notes. Your team needs a consistent process that stands up after the sale.

What “tested” looks like today

  • Manual checks vary by technician
  • Grade A means different things to different buyers
  • Hardware issues create returns and disputes
  • Activation lock and wipe mistakes create liability
  • Buyers have no simple way to verify your inspection

What Synapse makes standard

  • Every technician follows the same test flow
  • Every completed run creates a certificate
  • Buyers verify results with a scannable reference
  • Your grading process becomes repeatable
  • Proof travels with the device

How it works

From bench to buyer in three steps.

A repeatable process the whole team follows, so quality stays consistent no matter who is testing.

  1. 01

    Test

Plug the iPhone in and run the full 50-point inspection. Every result is measured on the device — display, cameras, audio, sensors, biometrics, buttons, connectivity, and battery health.

  2. 02

    Certify

Synapse turns each completed run into a server-issued, tamper-evident certificate with a clear result and a scannable reference. No manual grading, no guesswork.

  3. 03

    Resell with confidence

Attach the certificate to your listing. Buyers verify condition in seconds, your grading stays consistent across the bench, and proof travels with every device.

Proof that travels

A certificate buyers can verify.

Grading claims are only worth as much as the proof behind them. Synapse turns each inspection into a tamper-evident certificate, so your result can be checked after the device leaves the bench.

  • Server-issued for every completed check
  • Tamper-evident by design
  • Publicly verifiable — no login required
  • Resolves from a scannable reference
  • Shows non-PII device facts only
  • A refunded purchase invalidates it

Built from the bench

The inspection rigor behind a renewed Apple retailer.

Synapse comes from the bench, not a spec sheet. It productizes the same disciplined 50-point inspection used to grade renewed iPhones at Premier Max Tech — every check measured on the device — so any shop can apply that standard and prove it to buyers.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How certified checks, certificates, and team billing work.

What does a Synapse certified check include?

A full 50-point hardware inspection measured on the device — display, touch, cameras, speakers, microphones, sensors, Face ID or Touch ID, buttons, connectivity, battery health, and activation-lock and wipe status. Each completed run issues a verifiable certificate.

How is the certificate verified?

Every certificate is server-issued and tamper-evident, with a scannable reference that resolves to a public record. Anyone can verify the result without an account, and it shows non-PII device facts only.

How does team billing work?

You subscribe your shop to a monthly plan with a shared pool of checks and a set number of seats. The pool refills each billing period and is shared across every technician. Owners and admins invite techs up to the seat limit and manage roles.

What happens if I run out of checks?

Your dashboard shows remaining credits at all times. When you need more, upgrade to a higher tier from the Stripe billing portal — the larger monthly allowance applies on your next refill, with no interruption to certificates already issued.

Does a refund affect a certificate?

Yes. A certificate is tied to a completed, paid check. If that purchase is refunded, the certificate is invalidated so a verifier can no longer treat it as a valid result.

Is Synapse affiliated with Apple?

No. Synapse is independent inspection software for used iPhones. Apple and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. Synapse is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.
